i had no idea up until now that frontpages were selected by staff ^_^ many thanks to whoever frontpaged me🍀💛
i figured i could share the wips i have saved from the katamari piece that was frontpaged !!! its always so much fun making papercraft art, even with all of the tedious layers that come with it =w=;
this is one of my few pieces that ive started on paper, and later transferred digitally... and as you can sort of tell from the clip studio paint screenshot, theres lots of folders (each of them having looots of layers)
i remember this piece taking me roughly 8 hours, which isnt terrible when accounting for how many layers i was managing! i found this piece useful for improving my usage of simple shapes, before this i wasnt really the best with lineless art so i ended up teaching myself a lot while drawing each little katamari cousin >_<
